Sardines. For dogs who lose all self-control and dignity at the smell of fish. And with good reason.

Sardines. For dogs who lose all self-control and dignity at the smell of fish. And with good reason.

Inside we have put a heap of real, fresh, lovely Adriatic sardines. Straight from last night's fishing trip. This is not a recipe with a “fish flavour”, made of fish scraps from a human food factory and similar marketing fairy tales.
We mixed the sardines with lovely squash and courgette, rich in fibre for healthy digestion. We added jasmine rice so that this bowl is nutritionally balanced and healthy for your snout.
All of that we gently steamed and put in a bowl. What we got is food that looks after a dog's muscles, teeth, skin and coat, bones, heart, nervous system and eyesight.
The sardine is one of the richest fish in omega-3 fatty acids. That means less inflammation in the joints, a brain that runs like clockwork, and a coat that has the neighbours asking which salon your snout goes to.
You know what is even better? That apart from everything above we add absolutely nothing else. No processed chemicals, nasties or animal by-products of the sort that make dogs fart, ruin their coat and their stools, and make them ill.
We cook five recipes - a little something for every palate and every coat. They come in the packs in (roughly) equal proportions, unless your dog does not eat one of the ingredients.
